Shannon McConnell is a writer, educator and musician originally from Vancouver, British Columbia. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in literary magazines across North America. She is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan’s MFA in Writing program along with a MA in History. Shannon’s debut poetry collection The Burden of Gravity was published with Caitlin Press in 2020.
